Egerkingen Tourism launches new services for local providers

November 24, 2025

On Wednesday, November 19, Egerkingen Tourism invited entrepreneurs, representatives of associations, and municipal authorities to the Hotel Egerkingen for the first ET Network Apéro. Current projects and new services were presented that are intended to support local businesses in the tourism sector and strengthen their networks in the future.

These include the new electronic RegioBon system, which is suitable for gifts or sales promotions, and a voucher booklet specifically for hotel guests. Both offers are intended to increase the attractiveness of Egerkingen and the region for visitors, but also to promote cooperation between hosts, restaurants, retailers, associations, and authorities.

“With our new offerings, we want to strengthen local and regional tourism and provide relevant service providers with new opportunities to get actively involved,” said Reto Spiegel, who hosted the evening. “We don’t want to be perceived as an exclusive hotel club,” added President Christian Wyler. It is important that as many stakeholders as possible—as well as private individuals—identify with Egerkingen Tourism. Only by working together can attractive offerings be created. Host Claudia Hein also expressed openness to collaborations, particularly with village associations, which could actively participate in the many different events at the hotel in exchange for a small contribution to their association’s funds.

The evening concluded with a guided tour of the hotel’s lavishly decorated “Winter Wonderland” and lively discussions during the closing cocktail reception.

Interested businesses that would like to find out more about the new services and possible membership of Egerkingen Tourism can contact Egerkingen Tourism directly to arrange an appointment and/or will be actively approached in the coming weeks.
