The Swiss Writers' Trail recorded record visitor numbers in 2024. Now the success story continues: at the end of April 2025, Region Olten Tourism , together with Procap Switzerland, launched the barrier-free "Best-of-Tour" with 12 audio stations featuring 9 authors and authors.
Accessible "Best-of Tour"
The accessible "Best-of Tour" includes stories by Lisa Christ, Franz Hohler, Pedro Lenz, Kilian Ziegler, Alex Capus, Rhaban Straumann, Rebekka Salm, Walter Beutler, and Peter Bichsel. Thanks to the selected route, this tour is designed and suitable for people with mobility impairments and, in combination with the MyWay Pro app, also for visually impaired people. All stories are location-specific, were recorded by the authors themselves in a recording studio, and can be listened to in German and French.
Unique in Switzerland
With over 70 audio stations featuring 25 authors, the Swiss Writers' Trail is unique in Switzerland. Further expansions and attractions are also planned: in the near future, the "Best-of-Tour" will be made accessible to people with hearing impairments. Various events are also planned for the 10th anniversary in 2026.
