Advance ticket sales for Gäuer Spielleute open-air theater have begun
WillKammen in Mümliswil – A hairy factory history
The Gäuer Spielleute present their latest production and take you on an exciting journey through time and the history of the legendary Mümliswil comb factory. Written by resident author Christoph Schwager, the play combines history and theater in an entertaining and touching way.
The focus is on a group of visitors to the Mümliswil Comb Museum. Suddenly, the pictures on the walls come to life and guide the audience through the eventful past of the "Kammi" – from its humble beginnings in 1792 with Durssepp Walter, a farmer's son who began his apprenticeship as a comb maker, to the successes and challenges of the traditional family business up to 1990.
This time, the large ensemble of Gäuer Spielleute will be accompanied musically by renowned musical comedian Doris Friedmann, who will lend the piece a special touch.
Venue: Schälismühle Oberbuchsiten
Performance period: August 15 – September 6, 2025
You can find all the latest news about the play on the Gäuer Spielleute website.
