And in 2027, people will once again be swaying, wearing makeup, belting out songs, and smiling to their hearts’ content—as long as the confetti lasts.

🥁 Carnival Parade – The Village Goes Wild
Colorful floats, quirky yet beautiful Guggenmusik, kids with confetti in their hair, and adults who suddenly feel like they’re 12 again.
When the trumpets blare and the bass drum vibrates right down to your diaphragm, you know: Egerkingen is in a state of emergency.
👉 Tip from experience:
Don't stand right next to the loudest Gugge. Or maybe you should. It depends on how much you like your mother-in-law.
🎭 Chräieball – Masked, motivated, minimally supervised
The legendary masquerade ball at the Mühlematt.
Here you can see CEOs dressed as pirates, bankers as clowns, and at least one person who claims their costume is “ironic.”
