2-Day Package: Experience Egerkingen

Egerkingen Tourism is currently offering an attractive 2-day package in collaboration with four partner hotels.

Enjoy the highlights of this beautiful hiking region along the First and Second Jura Ranges, and let our restaurateurs and hoteliers pamper you. Combined with the current campaign by Aargau-Solothurn Tourism, “Short Vacations Like in a Picture Book,” and the offer featured in the “Historic Egerkingen” regional guide, a hike starting from St. Martin’s Church in Egerkingen is a great option. This hike follows Hiking Route 4 or 6 toward “Hüsern,” over “Bergli” to Tiefmatt, and across the Schlosshöhe to the Alt Bechburg ruins above Holderbank. From there, head back to the Schlosshöhe and down the Jakobsleiter to the starting point. Of course, not without stopping for a break at the Blüemlismatt. Day 1 = CHF 299.-

1. Arrival in Egerkingen
   ⸱ Early check-in and room assignment at the Mövenpick Hotel or Hotel Egerkingen
   ⸱ Overnight stay for 2 people, including breakfast
2. Presentation of Gift Certificates for Restaurant Meals
3. Pick up hiking backpack (packed by the hotel)
4. Start of hike (duration as desired, from a short walk to a day-long hike)
   ⸱ Teufelsschlucht
   ⸱ Santelhöhe-Blüemlismatt
   ⸱ Egerkingen – Balsthal
   ⸱ Visit to the Kneipp facility or swimming pool
   ⸱ Back to the hotel
5. Dinner at either Gasthof von Arx or Gasthof Kreuz

Day 2 + CHF 130.-

1. Breakfast at the hotel, check-out with a refilled hiking backpack
2. Hike 2 or a free day with individual departures (luggage can be stored at the hotel)
