St. Martin's Church

Built on the foundations of a Roman estate, the original structure likely dates back to the 7th or 8th century. The church was first mentioned in writing in 1294. Having grown gradually over the centuries, the 1708 expansion defined its architectural style. It was the Baroque period; the exterior of St. Martin’s Church in Egerkingen is simple, while the interior features ornate details. The church, with its Käsbissenturm, dominates the village landscape.
