Two enthusiasts from the Swiss Mittelland are building replicas of three Nieuport 23 C-1s from around 1917.
At Kuno Schaub and Isidor von Arx, everyone does everything. Each part isn't just manufactured once, but for the entire series at once. That's how the two of them minimize the effort required per aircraft.
Both were members of the organizing committee for the Vintage Air Show in Kestenholz in 2002 and 2009.
Thanks to the kind support of the municipality of Langenbruck, the Nieuport Memorial Flyers are hosting an exhibition at the Biderbaracke featuring a replica of the Nieuport 23 C-1, along with numerous documents, photos, maps, parts, stamps, medals, and more related to the aircraft and Oskar Bider.
